Our story has been 35years in the making. Joe Calkin started out in construction as a drywall and plastering contractor. His business grew over time going from a residential contractor, doing over a million sq ft of drywall per year, to o a commercial drywall and metal studs company handling very large projects including about 20 projects for Wal-Mart. Starting with small remodels, then renovating and building new pharmacies, to growing into major commercial expansions, the business continued to grow. Then came the grocery stores and several new supercenters along with multiple other commercial projects, the company grew and Joe was running several crews doing a high volume of projects. He was managing 30 to 40 guys at its peak, and all the stress and headaches that come along with that. After his 3 kids went off to college, it was time for a change. Joe downscaled his business and found a local niche doing smaller jobs on his own. Joe found a new appreciation for his work and loves doing the work himself, while helping out local families that can't find contractors to help with smaller home and business projects. Being the friendly neighborhood handyman has brought Joe and his family the happy medium that he needed in the new chapter in his career. If you are looking for professional help with reasonable prices, give Joe a call.
We love our customers, so feel free to call during normal business hours.
